Clear Glass
Available in the following thicknesses:
3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm
3mm, 4mm or 6mm is most commonly used for single glazed windows.
Obscured/Privacy Glass
Available in the following thicknesses:
3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm
3mm, 4mm or 6mm is most commonly used for single glazed windows.
Double Glazed Sealed Units
Available in a variety of thicknesses:
From 12mm - 28mm
2 Pieces of glass, sealed together with an internal aluminium spacer bar.
Laminated Safety Glass
Available in the following thicknesses:
4.4mm, 6.4mm, 8.8mm & 10.8mm
2 pieces of glass bonded together by a plastic adhesive. This prevents glass from shattering on impact and remins intact, held together by the laminate interlayer, making for a higher security feature. Most commonly used for doors and low level windows [below 800mm from the ground].
Georgian Wired Safety Glass
Available in the following varieties:
7mm Clear [Georgian Wired Polished Plate]
7mm Obscured [Georgian Wired Cast]
Clear or obscured glass with a fine mesh embedded within the panel. Typically up to 30 minute fire rated.
Toughened Safety Glass
Available in the following thicknesses:
4mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm
Standard glass processed with a thermal or chemical treatment to increase it's strength and resistance. It will require a much higher force of impact to break. Most commonly used for shower screens, table tops and shelves.
Pyroguard Fire Glass
Available to the following specification:
7.2mm - 30mm Fire Rated
Glass processed and treated to withstand Increased fire temperatures for up to 30 minutes.
Silver/Mirrored Glass
Available in the following thicknesses:
4mm & 6mm
Mirrors for any purpose. Finished with either a bevelled edge, all edges polished, or just clean cut. Available with no backing, foil backing or safety backing as required.
